AO was...kind of "eh" when I played it (given, it was not long after launch). Basically had the feel of a fantasy game, replacing "magic" with "nanotech." May've come far, but if they're offering it for free, maybe not, heh.

Then again, it's free... which means I'll probably dig out my old box.

Well, if you can't find your old copy, the full version of the game is available for download at the link above...

Also, I did a little research, and a lot of people seem to be saying that it's come a long way from the initial version two years ago.

The themes of AO are more interesting to me than the sword/magic based games' settings usually are.

If you try it, maybe you can let me know if it's worth the time... If not, I'll post my opinion about that when I get the time...
