i'm feeling a little dizzy, like a kid spinning around with my face up to the sky, falling down over and over again, never feeling the sharpness of the ground against my body. i'm glad i'm sitting here, still trying to grapple the circumstances, what's up and what's down. this waitressing business ain't so bad. working is, you know, satisfying.
