I've discovered that the princess in question works at Hardees rather than at Wal-Mart. My current plan (be it bad or good) is to send her flowers at work, since she gave me her name and told me "don't forget it

Be ABSOLUTELY sure she's single. Flowers + taken girl = bad. I made a similar mistake once, although not quite as severe, I don't think. Other than that, I'd say go for it.
