My arms are so sore, but I suppose the venture was worth it. Uncle says that I am getting stronger. That is all that matters in the end. I am willing to sacrifice an arm or a leg if it means I can handle myself better in battle ( Read more... )

I train with swords and magic. As for why I am doing that, I feel that it is proper to be ready for anything at a moment's notice.

Then it seems like we have quite a bit in common. I also like training with swords and magic. Your reason is valid enough for doing so as well.

I was just curious, actually, because some don't consider using weapons and focus solely on magic.

Those who focus solely on magic are neglecting their bodies. I believe that every witch and wizard should be in shape.

I always have. Magic is a gift, but one cannot rely only on their gifts.

True enough. It's good to practice your skills in Muggle-fighting too. Especially that most of use cannot use magic outside of school.

There is that, but I also practice Muggle-fighting because I can't always count on having a wand. Wands are easy to break, after all.
