So many Sinatra or other Lounge singer/Jazz Standard songs come from musicals.

"I've Got You Under My Skin" is from Born to Dance.
"Almost like being in love," is from Brigadoon.

For more Modern, Elton John did a solo version of "Can you Feel the Love Tonight"?

Yep, only for a short time, unfortunately, for a conference, but I'd love to meet at least once, if you have any time, June 19-21. My boyfriend Adam (also class of 2002, 21st_medici on here) will be with me. We'll be staying at Tsinghua University.

I should be free that weekend. I used to live near Tsinghua, so I could head up there, or if you two want to come into town that would work too. What's the conference?
