Off topic: remind me whether you're using a proxy server or posting through Dreamwidth, or if you're not in China, or if LJ just isn't blocked right now? Thanks!

Still in China (a block away from the Lama Temple, in fact). LJ isn't completely blocked here, but it's slow and inconsistent. I use a VPN - this think that routes my internet through a US IP address - which means I can get on both LJ and other sites that are more completely blocked (Youtube, Facebook, and the like) without major problems.
