So yeah, I got through Anime Weekend Atlanta 15 okay and I'm catching up on a couple things. Scored some cool swag (including a really awesome book by Helen McCarthy I'll have to write about verrrrrrrry soon) and hung with some good people I don't get to see nearly enough. Whoa I didn't even know they were making this. I loved the first two Loeb Arcs in Superman/Batman and if anything the first one just seems like it'd work really well in a movie format. Sweet! When does it come out? :O

AIC rocked (El Hazard ~ Magnificent World; one of my all-time favs), even though they sort of spun their wheels near the end (I guess most of the best talent left for elsewhere). Tenchi series #8, anyone?

Anyway, ever posted your thoughts on Green Lantern: First Flight?

Being disconnected from everything as I am, I haven't seen any of the DC direct-to-video releases yet except Superman-Doomsday, and probably won't see any of them for another year, I think.

hang on a second. If you're talking about whom and what I think, then you need to make a distinction.

Marlon asked for your help to do Albuquerque's programming, and as such is completely unrelated to what you're trying to refer to. Absolutely none of those resources that were going to be used for AWA have anything to do with Marlon or GE2; they're all personal property.

Now if you didn't mean to link the 2, then I'm just mis-reading things. but the way its typed up there now reads like you think you were owed something by someone unconnected to your current issue.

Two things.

1) I wasn't talking about all of GE2's gear. Sorry if it sounds that way but I'm really not referring to that equip, but a person which leads to...

2) Marlon isn't the one who specifically asked me to do SWACE. The person you're referring to did and though I was going through some real mess and wanted to bow out, it was too close to the con at that point and I gave my word to honor that commitment, which I meant to keep. This was not reciprocated to me and in fact done in a spiteful manner 1 week before AWA. I will NEVER allow this to take place again.

Your presence was missed pal. The Rick James cameo appearance was like all I saw from you. Hope to see more of you at the various social things prior to next year. I'll try to make it out more.

Oh, and Public Enemies looks awesome. Thanks for sharing. It'll be good to hear the old voices back again.

Next year, i'll try to make it somehow. your drinks and Lydia's lovliness became quite the talk after a couple parties. sounds like y'all did a great job. :)

And yeah, you'll definitely want Public Enemies. It rocks.
