Dude, I'm gonna pass on this one. I like cartoons, but I hate 99% of anime. My list would be anemic and embarassing.

Yes, you do need to make time for "How to Train Your Dragon." Also Coraline is more divisive, but I loved it... go in with the attitude you're going to see one of the old Rankin-Bass woodcut animations or maybe some French animation, and you'll love it. If you're a huge fan of "Nightmare Before Christmas" and hated "Corpse Bride" it'll suffer in comparison.

Also, it's difficult, but "Thief and the Cobbler" is brilliant, if you fast-forward whenever someone starts singing.

Why are you asking me to waste my time with this... when I obviously have PLENTY of time to do so?

Are there really that few people who have even heard of "Flight Of The Dragons" (starring John Ritter & James Earl Jones)? Liked it so much better than "The Last Unicorn

Probably pass. I don't want the world to know I am not the biggest Disney/Bluth/Ghibli/Pixar consumer. Some people can't deal with the concept that not everyone likes the same stuff.

WHAT? You don't absolutely ADORE TO DEATH every Ghibli film ever? No. Some, yes. All, no. I think this means I'm not exactly like everyone else and I am absolutely fine with that. Vive la différence!

Anyway, many of these I have never seen. It helps that I don't have kids and so no real reason to see movies aimed squarely at kids -eg, never seen Toy Story and can't imagine a reason TO see it.

"But there's humor and stuff in it for the adults to enjoy!" But maybe they should make movies where you don't NEED extra elements tossed in to appease a chunk of the audience. I dunno. Good stuff sells itself, you know.
