So the question I have, having not seen the movie and really, not seeing the other two (odd reasons):

Is there any rational reason the baddie is Bane? From what I see and read, he could be ANYBODY. See, the distinct reason Bane exists was because he was made to "break the Bat" for one of those goofy 'life changing events in the life of (character)!' things the comic companies seem to need to do every year or so.

But Batman is already broken in the Nolan-verse.

There isn't really a need for Bane. Since the Nolan Batman is so fixed on being 'so real world', the function of Bane could have been anybody. Or so it seems to me.

anyway, good job! Very readable and non confrontational. :)

Without trying to spoil it, there's a very specific reason Bane is there. :) Glad you liked it, man!
