Sadly you invalidated my immediate response that Xtian rock is mostly terrible by saying you liked Creed and Flyleaf until you knew they were religious. Maybe you dislike down-with-the-kids proselytising? Maybe the idea of a musical genre that's supposedly an expression of individualism and freedom being made into a vehicle for spreading a message of subservience to an ideology? Nope, otherwise out of ideas. See you next weekend?

maybe because it always feels like they're trying to "trick" kids into thinking that x-tians are "cool" or "edgy"
i've herad xtian rock i have liked, but in general it doesn't sit well for me either. maybe the fact that they have to make a point of it? they can't just say, we're rock muscians, oh, and we happen to be christian but that's not relevant. it has to be supper special because rock music is godless etc.
