Yay, it worked after posting the comment! How funny, last night Samantha sat in front of me on the carpet and gave each of my legs a lick; I commented on how unusual that was for her, but here we see how a German-Australian dachsund mix lavishes attention on his mummy in comparison to a cat deigning to give her brother 2 licks of attention.
Awww. But Colin is a dog, and a breed that devotes its life to adoring and protecting its owner so it's to be expected. Not that Colin's affection isn't pretty much the highlight of my life, it is almost more significant when a cat does it. When Rollo curls up and wipes up against my head (not anymore :( seeing as I don't live there) it's like a tough criminal saying "I love you" as opposed to soppy romantic saying it all day every day. Don't know if that's the best metaphore but you know what I mean.
omgomgomg! I'm so flattered, squee-ish, proud and everything else at once. So much so that I barely even cringed at you using me as your userpic ;)
I'll send you the original, much larger, high quality version. That way he can fill up much more of your screen. It's actually a rather nice one, regardless of my love for Colin, just in terms of a wallpaper - great style of photo, nice space down the left side....it should be one of the generic ones that come with microsoft. I'll have to contact Mr Gates about this idea.
