1. People were seriously talking about needing to do it again, watching the Star Wars films second.

2. I slept through Return of the Jedi, and I'm seriously considering putting it on while the_misha is at rehearsal.

You could also watch the Star Wars movies with LOTR interspersed between them. Or do Fellowship, Phantom, Clone, Sith, Two Towers, New Hope, Empire, Jedi, King. Something like that. Perhaps the story lines will meld into one. Maybe I can make it to the next one.

I like the interspersal experiment idea a lot. That way it'll be easier to track all the weirdo parallels in the plots, and compare the shapes of the OVERALL story arcs. Or story orcs, as the case may be.
