I don't know which camera I should get >_> (Digital SLR's)

I'm really lost for what sort of DSLR I should get, I've looked into a few that are in my price range, and I've found that Nikon D60 [link] and the Canon EOS 450D [link] which is just out of my price range.

I would love to get the Canon EOS 450D but I don't think I really need a camera that good (as an amateur photographer) and it seems highly ( Read more... )

That's a good point, I was considering that whilst looking at camera's today. Having used normal SLR's quite a bit, I'm not too sure if Live view will be important really.

And about my budget, I'm not too sure how much I have. I'm just waiting for my tax return, then I'll see how much extra I have for a new camera. The D80 does sound pretty good though.

I guess the real question is, how much should I really spend on a camera >_> because I have no professional reason to have an expensive SLRD, although in theory I could use it for my multimedia business (whenever anyone needs photos I guess). Such a hard choice though >_>

D80 also has auto focus, which the D60 doesn't have (it only has it with certain lenses D:), so I agree, D80 is worth saving more for. I know that's what I'm wanting :D
