S'much appreciated, and yeah, I wish things had turned out some other way. I think I was always on a hiding to nothing with this one, though -- perhaps I just didn't want to see it, or I felt the benefits outweighed the sturm und drang. I dunno. Perhaps they did, for a while.

Ah, I'm (perhaps surprisingly) not too shoddy. This might be shock, or just the calm before the emotions kick in (s'what happened last time, I was sanguine for a week or two before a perfect storm of angst set in), or it might just be the fact that... well, there's only so much you can fuck with someone's head before they become resistant.
