Actually you know what, it was immature of me to say "Latin is Stupid", I should have thought about what you would interpret it as. My appologies to anybody I offended in the last few posts.
I am not perfect, forgive me my flaws.

Congrats, if the Pope ever sends you a letter, you'll be able to read it.

One more thing, if there was no other course to take than latin, then by all means latin, but you could be learning another language which will be of more use to you.

Fuck latin. That's right, I said it. Latin is stupid.

There are more great books out there than you'll ever read. Rather than spend your time gaining the ability to read a book that's already been translated, I'd rather spend it reading that and other books in english.
Not to say Latin is completely useless, if that's your thing then by all means.

oh and going back to the SAT thing. What you need for the SATs is not latin, french, spanish, italian, or any of that. What you need is good knowledge of english. I never took latin, and my middle school french is dismal. And yet, if I remember correctly, most of what I got wrong on the SATs was in the sentence completion section, not the analogies.

Latin is helpful if you want to be a historian. Europeans intellectuals almost always wrote stuff down in Latin to present to their peers.
