I was very excited last night to find the first three Torchwood novels in Borders. Given how spotty the distribution of the Doctor Who books is, I never thought I'd ever actually see them on store shelves! Gary Russell doing Torchwood? No doubt the gang will be pitting their wits against the Celestial Toymaker.... they'd loose of course.

Currently sitting on the editor's desk! It looks like we missed the 2008 slot, but I've still got hopes for 2009...

Oh, and Dan Abnett is a British comics writer known for 2000 AD, and who did a number of DWM strips in the seventh Doctor era ("Mark of Mandragora", "Cuckoo", and "Pureblood" come to mind). Worth giving a look-see!
