i accepted you into my heart just now (read: i noticed you on my friend of list so i added you too). i'm sorry i didn't get you anything for your birthday, even though you were born when king david got a wild hair up his ass and made everyone go to their hometown for tax reasons, and all records say that this was in the middle of summer, because after all, what kind of king is going to make all of his subjects travel in the cold cold winter? and what kind of innkeeper would put a pregnant woman about to pop out in the stable with the horses and cows unless the weather was pretty balmy? and we must also note the coincidence that christmas is celebrated right around the time that all those crazy pagans that the church was always trying to convert would have been celebrating the winter solstice...
