Actually, there are quite a few Evangelists that DO teach peacefulness and understanding (Kenneth Copeland comes to mind at the moment). But it is always the odd balls that get the attention.

I wouldn't be too concerned. It's a well known fact that Pat Robertson is insane. Very few ppl take him seriously anymore, at least nobody of importance takes him seriously.

Robertson has always been so far right-wing, that even Georgie-Boy is a little scared of him. To be honest, Robertson makes me wonder how I could ever stomach watching the 700 club, at all.

The man disgusts me, in general, and often his comments make me physically ill.
