  I'm delirious with - among other things - fever. This is upsetting, less because of the debilitating effects of illness, and more because of its predictability. See, every year since 1998, I've gotten sick within seven days of Fall starting. This past Monday was the first day of the season, and on Thursday my throat was scratchy and my head began
