People ask me

why I think people who spend massive amounts of time playing WoW can, in general, be pathetic (I know some of you out there play, but see this video and understand what it does to people and you might understand my general loathing of MMORPGs in general). I laugh and cry as I weep for the species. Look, I'm not saying they should be put into ( Read more... )

I don't think the game made him act like an idiot. I think it's more a result of his being a spoiled brat who's not used to not getting his way.

That being said, I never really understood how adults could find the time to play WoW and other such games. I mean, between going to work, cooking dinner, working out, and keeping the house clean, I think Brian and I get about two hours each weekday to waste time on the Internet (less if we have other things going on). And we don't have particularly busy lives, either.

There is no time to have a life when you play WoW (at least when you're a raider). I'd come home from work, play WoW while trying to eat dinner, then reluctantly go to bed at about midnight, all the while getting complaints from guild members that I was leaving too early.

THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU! THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!

I also don't understand why he had to rip his clothes off - in stages, no less.

And yes, I do realize that it's a fake. But damn funny.

How does a human even make those noises? And yes, what the fuck was the part with the remote about?

Even if this was real, canceling your WoW account doesn't delete your characters, you just can't log in anymore, also it takes until the next pay period to take effect.

/Still funny though.

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I'm a recovering WoWaholic. I played WoW when I was single and lonely, WoW was my source of comfort and now that I have someone in my life, I will have been Excessive-WoW free for a year in October. Now when I get home I don't want to raid, I want to spend time with actual human beings! go figure...
