This was like, five or six stories in one. Is the film going to be like three hours?

Also, Natalie Portman talking about the Morimori, saying, 'then the Europeans came and they no longer exist'. Ignoring of course the wonderful but terrible story about how the entire Maori invasion force got sick, the Morimori nursed them back to health and then the Maori conquered them. Did she even READ the book?

You know I thought David Mitchell had written the book that was the basis for that remake of Michael Bay's 'The Island', right? Turns out it was Kazuo Ishiguro. I was relieved, I didn't think David Mitchell would be the kind of author to write a book based on a Michael Bay movie.
