So I went to the pound today to see if that German Shephard I was looking at a week ago was still there. It wasn't. There were a few other dogs that I was somewhat interested in. But then I noticed one dog that had been there for about a week. She was brought in 2 days before her birthday. She had to spend her birthday in the pound. I felt

Awwwww. You are a true home owner now. Truth be told, the entire reason I bought a house was so I could get a dog. That's why I call her, my first adopted, the most expensive dog in the world. ;-)

That is so awesome! Congrats on being a dog owner (or "animal guardian" if you ever happen to move to Boulder County). Malamutes are great dogs. They're very stubborn, but so loyal and loving and sweet. I hope you have lots of good times with your girl. Show us a picture soon, and let us know her name when you figure it out.

If it's the album I think it was, then technically, it was the first album I ever owned - I THINK it was a birthday present, although frankly, I can't remember that far back.
