I'm sorry sweetie. That really really sucks that she's moving. Seattle is pretty cool, however, and it would be a good life change for you.

Your mom must be devastated. I wonder how your dad is taking it all in. Especially the losing his job stuff, and only one year from retirement!!!

Seattle definitely is a good market for design and filmmaking.

It's really sad. My sister has lived near me my entire life, and she is really scared because she has never moved out of Florida before. She also has never been to Seattle. This is all happening too fast for everyone. She has to go out there sometime in January to look for a house, and get used to everything in the area. I'm not even sure if they've lived in the house they are in now for a year yet. Talk about things flipping upside down
