I'm not sure how professional this site is supposed to be, but assuming it's "very" I'd rephrase your about. Potential employers probably won't know it's taken so long to make the site and you want to sell yourself not put yourself down! (looks good though!)
I had doubts about what I said in that page in particular because of how it may sound like I'm lazy. But the paragraph as a whole is showing who I am. I don't have much of an ego and on the website as a whole I want things to be judged at face value.
Does it not come off that way? I have a hard time acting like a rock-star about 3D stuff...
There's a difference between letting people judge at face value and putting yourself down. Part of "self promotion" is highlighting your good points and minimizing your bad ones. Be honest, but don't put yourself down. There's a difference between modesty and being self-deprecating. No one trying to hire you is going to say "why did your website take so long?" so you're only damaging yourself by preemptively answering that. And if they do? Answer privately in an e-mail. When trying to get a job, there are things they just don't need to know, and the bad parts are sure to be touched on in an interview.
