Ummmmm, movies to add...I don't know! I just watched Amelie over the weekend and fell in love with it again, though. Do you have that movie already?
Okay, okay, a real suggestion: Adaptation. Or The Science of Sleep! Though, I usually use Netflix to get the DVD sets of TV shows that I wanted to watch/get copies of.
As for music, have you listened to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs? Also, Of Montreal does good, wacky stuff. To be honest, I've just been listening to a lot of The Killers and Rilo Kiley lately.
I did add The Science of Sleep, and I do own Amelie. I do have Fever to Tell, but not Show Your Bones. And I have put pretty much every thing Hugh Laurie has ever been in TV wise. And yeah, Of Montreal! William and my friend Jeff listen to them alot, and I always think, I should get more of this, and then forget they exist. Good job!
I like Show Your Bones better than Fever to Tell, but maybe that's just because I listened to that one first. I have an EP of theirs as well. If you want, I can upload it for you.
Uhhh, good music. Some of these might be a tad folky or popy for your tastes, but whatever.
Bon Iver, Joggers, Beulah, Mum, Explosions in the Sky, The Octopus Project, Vampire Weekend (one of my new favorite bands ever), Wilco (my favorite band of all time ever), Pedro the Lion, Headphones
Hmm. Sondre Lerche makes me happy and seeing him in concert was a real joy so if you haven't heard of his stuff it might be fun. His stuff can kinda help ease some of the world's burdens & lighten the heart. You might like Sufjan Stevens' Christmas boxed EP set as the holidays approach too.
Any thoughts on what to add?
Duh, Ioan Gruffudd flicks. ;p One movie I enjoyed rewatching recently was Keeping Mum, starring Maggie Smith, Patrick Swayze, and Rowan "Mr. Bean" Atkinson. Basically the Mr. Bean vicar of a small town hires a housekeeper in Maggie Smith and she sagely improves their lives whilst murdering a few neighbors who disrupt the family's happiness. It works because it's British and isn't really ugly or anything. Ooh, if you haven't seen Pee Wee's Big Adventure or Edward Scissorhands those are good escapist fun too. Same vein as Keeping Mum is Heathers, with Winona too. By the way I thought the Triplets of Belleville was kinda cool & am jealous of your Netflixage.
I bought Lego Batman, and got stuck after playing for 10
