My friend is a highschool teacher and the only one who teaches Italian, so he refers to himself as 'Head of LOTE'... he's hoping ppl will get used to it and just kind of subconsciously presume he is Head of LOTE (the position doesn't exist) and then he'll get the several-grand-a-year payrise that goes with being head of a dept. lol. Unless they realise it doesn't exist and get him to stop using it. His plan to counter that is to make himself soooo invaluable as Head of LOTE that they make the position official. He reckons he can do that subconsciously by wearing a name badge that says "Mr F****, good at Head" =op I told him i'd buy him one and give him a million dollars if he would wear it to parent-teacher interviews. =op

Oh yeh, good to hear an update and know ur not all dead n stuff! lol. =o)
