You should file a report on him, or whatever it is that McDonald's does, so he will get fired. Stealing is a crime, and he should not be working if he is stealing, let alone being an ass to you and everyone else that works there. I can understand he has bad days, but if he's like that all the time, then he should be kicked in the ass facing the door.

IMHO, fire the lazy lying little bastard. When you're on the bottom on the totem pole, and ESPECIALLY on a closing shift you have to do all the work you're told to do in the most efficient way possible. Do you really want someone like that working for you all the time? We fired two people exactly like that in like 5 days of them being hired. You can't fuck around when it's to do with people's food and closing shifts.

My first reaction is to say lighten up you'll live longer... not everyone is an over achiever, he could be a diamond in the rough. Did you explain to hem what he missed when he washed the floor, it sounds like he was going through the motions (monkey see monkey do) without fully understanding the point. To you and me the point is obvious, kind of like it's obvious to some of us why we need to change the oil in our cars (or check it... right Sab), or keep the battery charged in a car when the car is stored for several months. Sometimes the simplest things need to be pointed out to even the smartest of us
