Billi Piper in the new Doctor Who series looks far too much like a girl I did dirty things with in Uni.
Which kinda spoilt my enjoyment of the new episode last night.

Well ok, that's a lie. I loved the new episode. But still...

yes she'd be cross if you've spelt her name wrong.

i saw it - and it was terrible. we were all joking that the dustbin was going to eat the man with it's huge dustbin jaws of doom, and then.... it did.

i think christopher eccleston wasn't right for that kind of acting. the cheesy comedy comments he just shouldn't have done.

but then - i've seen none of the original series and know nothing about dr who. so it may just be me. i think it as supposed to be awful. sorry for my lack of capitals.

Come to think of it I can't spell the name of the Billie Piper lookalike ...

... let us not go into that.

Fair comment I suppose. I loved it, and thought Christopher Eccleston was great. The character is supposed to be a bit silly like that.
Er, as are the monsters. Intentionally or unintentionaly.

It made me laugh anyway.

I'll adit though Christopher Eccleston is good but probably not as good as everyone raves about. In some ways I think Billie Piper outshone him on screen.

I certainly didn't watch it.
And I certainly didn't think it was absolutely amazing.
And it certainly wasn't the 8th time I'd watched it.
I very much certainly won't be looking forward to The End of the World next week.
And I certainly don't wish to hunt down the girl you did dirty things with and ask her if she'll participate in some kinky Doctor Who roleplay with me, no sir...

PS. I certainly don't want to clobber the sound technicians who gave Graham Norton an unexpected cameo in the episode...

Actually to be honest, it was kind of a reminder of my guilt. It just felt weird to be honest more than anything else, especially since I was sat watching it with the family.
