Recently I downloaded "Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla" in .avi format. The download came with a .srt file which I've since learned is the file containing the subitiles for the movie. Also, I found out that you can open those .srt files with notepad and change the subtitles manually, you can make them say whatever you want. Not that you would ever want or need to, just something interesting I found.

...Then make sure the .srt is exactly the same, only with .srt instead of .avi.
They have to be named the same if they are to work in windows media player.
