So, Erika's back in the States for a week. I am quite quite lonely, and a little lost as to what to do with myself. I've never spent more than an hour(in total) alone in this house, it's a little strange ( Read more... )

Aww, poor Erika, that's some bad plane luck indeed. Have you got the cat for company?

Alas no. She went off to a new home on Tuesday. This was so that I didn't have to look after it while Erika was away, and because Millie doesn't get on with other cats, and Erika shall be bringing her two little rascals along with her when she returns.

Aww, so it must be very quiet there! Although two cats on the way is lovely and exciting. I think we're all doing things tomorrow evening, so I'll be in touch as you're free.

Go and cheer yourself up with some good old machine porn!

lmao, think I'll stick with my Diablo II for now, maybe I'll put some on later. :p

I have missed her cats a little, it'll be good to see them again. However if Lucifer chews on any of my computer cables it's back on a plane for him.

I don't know much, when we'd turned the news on they were just talking about the disruptions it had caused, and that security was at it's maximum and that everyone should avoid flying if possible.

I've not really gone out of my way to find out much, none of the papers at work had anything on it. But from what I've heard from various sources, 21 people were arrested days before they planed on blowing up several planes above the atlantic ocean. They were to use liquid chemicals that become highly volatile when mixed together, that they were to smuggle on, in drinks bottles and then mix when in the air.
Would supposedly have been bigger than 9/11 if it had followed through.

I don't know how much of that is true, or accurate, it's just what I've heard.
