It has been one heck of a long time since I made a public entry here. Not for lack of want! But now I've entered that stage where it's been so long that I feel like I need something REALLY GOOD to say. You think I'm joking, but you haven't seen my doc files full of links and fic ideas and movie reviews etc etc for posting. This is me: crazy

So, here's the deal. My Great Uncle Cliff's memorial service is this weekend, and if I don't take Meemaw then she can't go and she may die of heartbreak. So. I asked for Friday or Monday off but my coworker is being an absolute vengeful bitch and is refusing to cover my shift so looks doubtful either will happen. I am leaving with Meemaw on Saturday morning and will return Sunday sometime. Which means the only time I'd be able to see you is Sunday afternoon/evening or Monday morning. Both of which looks very booked on your end. I'll let you know when we come in on Sunday just in case you have a spare minute.

I hope I get to see you, but I understand if you can't. I had planned to keep the weekend open so I could work with your schedule but.. Anyway. Love you!

Meemaws are very special people to have and I absolutely adore mine. But with that said? You are also mine. I cherish, adore, and claim you like family. You are, to me, heart family. So although my first priority in this situation must be Meemaw, you are important to me just like she is.

Yes, I would love to visit you in Asheville. As long as you'll have me!

I'm not.. Worried about it because the choice is clear, but it does make me sad. But.. Well. It will work out or it won't, and stressing won't make anything different. I do realize that.
