well, i love happy ending for both Iruka and Kakashi but i t's unfair for that other guy too, you know? i mean its... odd... just like that... you don't throw someone out of your door just to let your ex in right? or is that the trend now? coz i don't know it's really weird for me...*shrugs*

I love your comment so it would be unfair to dismiss it with the "it's just a story" line. I totally agree with you in that it's not something that a normal person would or should do so quickly. My original plan was to end this story with Kakashi realising what he had lost in letting Iruka go - sort of a love story in hindsight - but I'm not a particularly gifted story-teller so it ended up with Kakashi dying his hair black and going emo (figuratively) which I consider unacceptably OOC. It also threatened to get really long and I'm not patient or industrious, either. So, in light of all that, I changed the ending, slapped a warning label in the A/N about the end being trite and put it out there hoping it would make someone smile anyway :)
If I end up writing something again, I hope you'll read it as well and give me equally objective feedback! Thanks! <3
