Master Gamgee, is it not? A pleasure to meet you. I have heard tales of your own bravery to match what I have seen with my own eyes. Master Merry should be proud, indeed, for what he lacks in height he makes up for in mettle. Are all your kinsmen so brave?

I thank you for the kind words, my Lord. I don't know what you've heard, but I'm not so brave as all that. Just doin' my best to be of 'elp is all. It's Mister Frodo what earns that title more than I ever did, and that's a fact. Truth be told, we Shire folk are a stubborn lot. What we lack in size we more'n make up for in sauce!

You are as humble as you are brave, Master Gamgee, and that's a rare virtue to possess. You and your kin are welcome to come sup at my table, raise a mug with my Riders whenever you so wish it. *gestures at Hall* These walls would do well to echo with some small shadow of the cheer that used to ring through this place.
