Talk to your advisor, to your music teacher, or to your orchestra teacher. Or all three. Basically, talk to someone who would know what your options are. They can tell you your choices or suggest ones you didn't even know existed. Also, by telling them what's going on, they will be much more sympathetic than if you just spring something on them at the last minute. That's pretty much how it goes with ALL profs, though, in general. But yeah, you should talk to someone who knows what your options are.

Good luck, and feel better! I'm so sad you're stressing out - hopefully you have time to de-stress a little. :) *hug*

My advisor is somewhat transitionary right now, he's not going to be here in spring. I'm also kind of afraid to talk to my music teacher about it because I tried to explain the situation to her today and she freaked out at me telling me I'd get a C if I didn't suck it up. I understand that the song needs to be better, but I only have one final on Monday and juries isn't until Wednesday during finals, so after this coming wednesday when I get those two tests over with I'll have that whole week to fix anything I need to, which is just details at this point. I told her that, but she didn't understand and seemed to be more annoyed than anything else. >_<

My stand partner is in a similar situation though, so we're going to have dinner tomorrow and discuss what we should do. Maybe with the two of us we can get the guts to talk to someone else, I dunno. It's just frustrating.
