"The Engine Room" by Scottish Band Runrig.

It's folk rock, no lyrics but composed to sound like a large musical engine.

I can send you a file of it later if you're online.

"The Typewriter" by Leroy Anderson. Even uses the typewriter as an instrument.

Mmm, off teh top of my head, I'm thinking of Philip Glass's soundtrack Koyaanisquatsi (and probably other stuff he's done), I'm thinking of German band "Einstuerzende Neubauten"... there's things like Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine"... depending on what you're after, perhaps also things like Kraftwerk or some of Jean Michel Jarre's stuff?

Chattanooga Choo Choo by Glenn Campbell, or at least the introduction. On that theme, there might be other stuff you could find based on looking for specific types of machine, like vehicles. A lot of Scott Joplin's piano jazz is based off machinery, I can look out some names for you if you'd like. Definitely use The Typewriter, as luckykaa said. Hmmm. Will think more on this subject.

"O trenzinho do Capira" (the little train of Capira) from Villa-Lobos' "Bachianas Brasileiras"?

There's lots of modern music (particularly percussion music) that's very much inspired by machines, too, although I'm failing to think of anything in particular at this point.
