All right, so it seems I might have goofed on this one. The CCC is an awful organization, but it seems that it's reasonably clear that I misread the picture. The man is James Edwards, host of The Political Cesspool in Memphis. The woman, definitely of age, is his wife.

Do you need to borrow a towel to wipe the egg off your face?

Heh, if that's the case, and I'll defer to you that it is because you seem to know--then yes, I'd appreciate the towel. Thanks for pointing it out.

Unlike most left wing bloggers, you possess at least some intellectual honesty, enough to nibble on some humble pie. My estimation of you has gone way up.

BTW, I am the Blogmeister of the St. Louis Metro Area CofCC chapter. (If you have any pull in the left-wing blogosphere, let 'em know that the abbreviation CofCC and NOT CCC.) I doubt you'll want to look at our blog, but if you do:

Thank you, I appreciate it, though I think liberal bloggers deserve more credit than you give them, in general. Also, thanks for the correction on the acronym.

And actually, yes, I will check out your blog. As I've said, from what I know about your group, I strongly disagree with its views, but your civility in our dialogue so far has made me willing to read what you've got to say.

I hope we can continue the debate, though I imagine it will be contentious (all the better, if you ask me).
