Senator Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island is one of the few Republicans I like. He supports increased research funding, expanded health care, and environmental protections. Am I the only person who felt kinda sad about the Chevron find? Now, now, don't get me wrong. The class warrior in me is glad that gas prices are down, because I'm sure they affect the poor disproportionately.
