For those who don't know the Disney store was bought back by Disney (they've been owned for 2 years by a company called Hoop). This seemed at first to be good news as we've wanted this for a long time

Damn, hun, I am so sorry to hear this! I know how excited you were when you landed this job. But I am sure you are going to find something soon, you now have a good amount of time with Disney and it will look good on your resume. Best of luck to you, and tons of hugs!!

Thankyou. I really did love this job... so much so that even if I got a really good full time job I would have kept this as long as possible even if it were just one night a week or on a per diem basis. I love working with the kids, and I love the other castmembers I work with. many of them i consider friends. I just hope all of us find work now that Disney kicked us to the curb. I feel the worse for Claudia and Cassie (our two assistant managers). Claudia had worked there for 16 years and Cassie took this job (even though it was a paycut and farther from her home) with the promise she would get a raise when the reviews came. That didnt happen as we got sold and now we're getting closed, and on top of that we all found out we were closing on her birthday. Happy Birthday you're fired!!! How much does that suck?

Anyways yeah... hopefully things will go well for us all. I have a good number of prospects floating around so I should find something.
