So I've written out your Christmas card and I know it's going to be late, but I need to know what address to send it to!

And here's my work schedule, in case you wanna call me:
Monday - 7:00AM-3:30Pm
Tuesday - 11:30AM-8:00PM
Wednesday - 7:00AM-11:00AM, so this would probably be the best day to call.
Thursday - 11:30AM-8:00PM
Friday - 3:00PM-8:00PM, except the day after Christmas. I'll be working from 11:00AM-8:00PM on XMas.

I know that Vegas is 8 hours behind London, but I'm not sure about Manchester?

On the matter of a telephone call, first of all do you have Skype? I've just installed it (in an emergency attempt to retrieve a lost mobile phone, which thankfully succeeded) and it's a wonderful system, and completely free between users. It would give us a lot more flexibility if there was a way you could get access to it...

The UK has but one time zone - more than that would be frankly greedy for a country of our size! But the problem I have with next week is that I'm going to be at my mother's back up in Scotland, and she doesn't have an internet connection at all - which would make Skype impossible, and any other form of telecommunication more difficult too because we'd have trouble co-ordinating. How about the week after Christmas, or perhaps in early January?

I have no idea what Skype is! Yes, later is fine. I may even be able to call you if it's next year.

Thanks so much! Skype is really worth checking out, you know; they offer free, unlimited calls - even with video, if you like! - between users over the internet, and make their money by also offering reduced rate calls to regular phones. It's an excellent service, so far as I've seen so far. They're on www.skype.com .
