Say What Now?
We'd all been looking for them for about a week and were going between being worried sick to pissed off majorly. Spark members were calling Wanton members and then one day Drake from Ether got called Marcus wanting to know if he'd heard anything about him being fired.
So when Marcus got a call from Rhys telling him he, Elijah, Shox, Devon and damn near every member of Ether were fine we all decided to stick with pissed off majorly. We all met Jason's place, something about that being the last place they would look. I was biting my tongue for maybe five minutes - seconds, before looking at Orli, "I swear if Elijah has them ALL in danger this time I'm buying Rhys a gun."
Orli smiled and squeezed my hand. He knew how worried I'd been and how upset, and quite frankly hurt, that Rhys would just take off without a word. He and I had gotten pretty close I thought. Rhys had said to be there at noon, so here we all sat huddled in Jason's house. Every last one of us had a bit of a sour look on our face as we waited. Noon came and went and I started to get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
Marcus started pacing and by about his tenth lap around the room he suddenly fell to the floor. We all jumped as a light filled the room and suddenly there stood Rhys, Elijah, Dan, Devon and Shox. Each of us with our mouths hanging open just gawked at them for a moment before looking at each other. Guy looked at his glass of whiskey and poured the remaining alcohol in the potted plant next to the couch.
If this hadn't been almost frightening it would have been amusing watching marcus stammer as he looked up at Rhys - the one he walked into and the reason he was currently sitting on his ass. Finally he shook his head, "This can't be a dream or we'd all be naked."
Rhys reached down and smacked him in the back of the head, "Very poetic horndog. Get up we don't have much time we are risking everyone doing this."
The five of them looked at each other as if trying to figure out who was to start and Adam hollered for one of them to explain what the fuck just happened! Shox smiled and shrugged, "Well thing is Elijah, Dan and Devon are angels and the demon world has declared war on the angel world. Rhys and I are protectors so we gotta be with them as are Aaron and Eddie. Anywho, so until this war thing blows over we gotta be in safe hiding fighting the demon world. Not sure how long, but we'll let you know when we know. K?"
Stunned silence filled the room - all except a sigh from Dan as he rubbed his fore head. Shox looked over at him and asked innocently, "What?"
Guy stood up, walked over to Shox, punched him in the arm and said, "That's the best you could come up with asshat?! You write songs for fuck's sake! Angels?! THOSE three, please!"
I take Orli's hand, "No shit Shox, I mean angels?! Elijah?!"
I look over at Rhys and Elijah as they glare at me, "Hey no offense but come on... I mean if anyone here were to be an angel it would be Orli. So come on, the truth. Drugs, murder, kidnapping..."
Frankly with those five I wouldn't be shocked with any of those.
