Jesus that last guy was lame. I know some guys get off on my voice, but all I did was read the menu from China One and talk about how the food makes my mouth water! Although they do have some kick ass dumplings. Mmmm pan fried dumplings sounds good! Damn now my mouth IS watering.

I am nervous when I turn up to the address I was given. An apartment block, not in a nice area of town, not a nice looking building and certainly not anything Orli should be living in. If it wasn't for the fact I know I can protect myself and/or have help instantly if I needed it I would never have come here alone

What - how... oh God. He can't see me like this! I panic and lower my voice, "Uhh... no habla english"

I roll my eyes at myself. Like he's gonna fall for that. I already said his name. Fuck.

My heart aches when I think about him. Once Hayden and I... then Ben... I never thought they'd all desert me, but no one seemed to care. But he's here now...

I clear my throat, "Bloody hell..."

Unlocking the door and sliding the chain off I open the door just a crack and look at him. My heart warms instantly, "Oh Lig."

Uhh... no habla english

If it wasn't for the voice I would have questioned my information. My heart sinks a fraction. He does not want to see me. For a brief second I consider going into his head but then stop myself. I will not use my powers on my friends, that is not fair to them.

Then I hear him curse and the sounds of the door being unlocked, a chain, then a gap and then his eyes appearing in it.

Oh Lig.

My heart swells and I have trouble containing it but the fact the door wasn't opened wide in welcome drags it back down. "Orli?!"

I sigh and look away. This is why I didn't want to see any of them. I muster up a smile and look at him, "Yeah, it's me. Bigger than life.. so to say."

I take this as part of my punishment and open the door so he can see ALL of me. My heart breaks knowing he will be shocked. I can't look at him, the disgust in his eyes. It's hard enough to see it in mine when I make the mistake and look at my reflection.

I sigh and slump down onto the couch. "Bloody hell Lig."

Toeing off my shoes I throw my jacket over all the garbage on the other end of the sofa. "I'm - I'mdoingphonesex."

I hang my head in shame then shrug my shoulders, "It's the only thing I was ever good at and now that I look like this..."

I stare at him. "That's it. Phone sex." I walk over to where the phone is and proceed to plug it back in. "I can't believe you were going to practically throw me out over that Orli. I've done way worse, fucking way way worse, and I wasn't getting paid... what I did wasn't to keep a fucking roof over my head."

I finish putting the plug back in and stand to look at him. "Give me the number." I dig in my pocket and take out my cell. "Come on, give it up."

I just stand there with my mouth hanging open. He's done worse? I'm about to ask him what when he wants the number to work?

My mouth tries to work but I just look like a fish then end up just digging in my wallet for the card with the number on it. I hand it over to him wondering what in the world he is doing.

I take the card from him and key the number in to my phone. His phone rings shortly after and I reach over taking it off the hook then resting the hand piece down on the arm of the chair in front of it.

I look at him and lay my cell down as well. "Right, now work is taken care of and we can talk."

I gasp softly against his lips, but the innocence of it pulls me in. It's not a threatening kiss at all. It's purely meant to let me know he loves me.

A lump forms in my throat and my breath hitches. Against his lips I whisper, "No one has ever done this before - thank you."

I smile softly, stroke his cheek then kiss him on the forehead before looking back in his eyes. "Yeah well get used to it because I am going to kill you with love." I pull my hand away from his cheek and turn it taking his in mine. "Come on, lets get started on packing your shit up."

I laugh, "Shit is right. I've only got some clothes. All this crap furniture came with this place. I do have my hair products, but it's store bought shit. I miss my salon stuff," I touch my hair, "that was one thing Ben let me get."

I sigh as I look at my hair, "It's dry and I have split ends now."

I stand and look around. "Good after we get you settled that means we can have a pamper day. Don't worry if you don't feel up to going out we can order everything online and have it all come to us." I turn and smile at him. "I do miss those old times."

I start to move around and look at the mess of the place. "And don't worry about cleaning any of this up. Just pack up what you want to take with you and I'll get a cleaner in to deal with this. That's the advantage of being filthy rich. I have minions."

I look back at him. "You ready to do this?"

I give up on trying to control his hair just grabbing it in my hands and hooking my arms around his neck pulling what I can back from his face. I smile into his overjoyed face. I sigh happily. "It's good to see you smile Orli. It's what you deserve.."

I turn to start exploring the place, but look back at him, "So there aren't gonna be any vampires or shite popping up here looking for you - will there?"

I've seen Van Helsing and I am not sure I could fight those bitches off. If I need some protection, I want to go get the garlic now!

I laugh and wiggle out of his grip. "No, this place is pretty well protected and I intend to stay here with you as much as possible. Besides there's a treaty in place at the moment. The vampires are behaving themselves mostly."

I giggle at the look on his face then reach into my pocket for my phone as I walk over to the rail at the edge of the deck. "Now go and explore the place, pick a room, get settled. I have to call Rhys and tell him what's going on." Then I remember. "Oh and in the kitchen on the door of the refrigerator you will see a computer screen, have a poke around on that and order anything you want stocked in. The pantry is probably empty."

I can just order right from the fridge!? Well why not, he's an angel.

I squeeze his hand and take off to look around. Fucking hell it's beautiful. I can see why Rhys bought this place. An awesome get a way for him and Lij. Can definitely see how romantic it could be.

Sighing I look out at the water. Lowering my head a picture catches my eye. It's Shox and... is that Devon? Why does it look like a wedding photo? Picking it up I read the inscription Mr. & Mr. Hotstuff. I laugh and nod my head, "That is so Shox. Interesting."

Obviously there is a shitload of stuff I missed. Walking into the kitchen I check the pantry and fridge and yeah it's bare. I hesitate when I start to order. Maybe I will leave that to Lij. All I can think to order is crap.

Walking around the living room I see framed gold records, Wanton an Ether, Who is Ether? There are also framed photos and articles, covers of Rolling Stone... whoa is that?! Lij is in a BAND?! With Dan and DEVON?!

I sit down on the sofa with a lump and rub my head. I need a flow chart.

My eyes-brows shoot up and I smile, "Oooo your life is better than any soap on! If you plan on staying here till I get my shite together, we have time!"

I rub my hands together, pull my feet under me and face him. I'm all full of excitement! I've had so little human contact, and been feeling sorry for myself - and well everything has turned out great for Lij and everyone... it will be nice to hear about some one elses... issues.

"OK, start from when I left. Last I knew you and Rhys were fighting, he was ummm well you know Devon and Dan was living with his therapist. OH! Maybe we should make some tea first. You want some tea? Oh wait not sure there is any."

I laugh and take his hands in mine, "I know I'm babbling but it's so good to have you here! A true friend."
