UCL is such a nice place, especially considering the location, you don't expect to find somewhere nice in the middle of london, but it rules. My interview was ace, although the lady almost accused me of not really being a punk because i was too smart. No. Not a proper one, anyway. I am with no piercings, no studded leather jacket, and no mohican (although that would be utterly ace). Other than that though, I suppose I'm more a of a punker kid than anything else. My reference writer though, when helping me start my personal statement told me I should write stuff about punk music I like, my general attitudes, political activist and campaigning stuff I do, because it'd make me seem like a real and interesting person, as opposed to someone that just writes "I'M SO SPECIAL BECAUSE I LOVE EVERYTHING EVER ESPECIALLY YOU AND I'M REALLY GOOD AND LOOK AT ME etc.". So I wrote stuff about punk music, GreenPeace, FairTrade, and my love of dodgy action adventure novels.

And so yes (because I pressed 'post' by accident before I finished that reply), because I told her I like punk music and the politics and suchlike, she seemed to be expecting me to have my hair gelled funny and to be wearing ripped jeans. To an interview. Funny lady. Nice though. Apparently she wrote a really nice letter to my reference writer too saying how awesome I was and that would I please go to university there. I say NO, HAHAHA. Ho hum.
