this makes me so sad. and it makes me even sadder because i can't even say anything that will give you hope. this is probably going to be a life long battle. people are so ignorant. we have been raised in such a way. if a person is gay it really doesn't matter. on the scope of things it really doesn't matter in the slightest. but we've all been raised to think one way about it. all you can do is try to actively challenge stereotypes for those ignorant people out there. show them that you are not a pedophile that they all seem to think that gay people are. show them that you can love just like they can love. show them that you are human too. we are all human...we all have the same needs and wants! it's not fair, you shouldn't have to be proving yourself your whole life. but if you want to try to make a difference in this world and in ignorant people's minds, you have to challenge these thoughts and norms. you have to be strong.
