My favorite subset of reactionary forum postings are those whose authors affect a mature attitude, implying that they are much older and wiser than the rest of the human wasteland that pervades their interinfowebnet realm. This brings up some relevant questions, such as *why* are they then spending their time with these grober yung, individuals who are probably insensitive to the more serious issues of old age, like incontinence and bedsores? Also, why do these old buzzards tumble headlong into the grammatical pitfalls the lampooned laddies and berated bobby-soxers consistently manage to avoid?

Yes, Avery, it is quite the quandary. Had I known, though, before i posted, that I was in the presence of such venerable elder-posters I would have never let slip my impetuous cyber-tongue. Better to let them argue without my paltry smatterings of youth-babble. How was I to know that JAPANIMATION WAS BETTER IN THE SEVENTIES. Such wisdom is many years beyond my ken.

Psh, Sky Captain is really ripping off that old Fleischer Superman cartoon with the giant robots (which are identical to the ones in the film).

This makes me miss the old days on the Evangelion board. Even moreso because now I'm capable of forming coherent arguments, as opposed to when I was 14 and, for all intents and purposes, an idiot.

I don't see how anyone there thinks they bested you at all. You pretty well cleaned the internet up with their slowly expiring corpses. Yet, they proudly exclaim victory as you feast upon their entrails.

Damn I hate stupid people.

Even the internet is not safe from stupid people. They are following me. Everywhere I see them. I go be mopey now, then pet a kitten, then cheer up, then forget what I was mopey about, then make pretty things, then play with kitties, then sleep. YAY
