Fly angel, spread your wings and fly
Today should be the day everyone should realize that mental health is no joke, that it should not be left aside, that IT SHOULD BE PRIORITIZED. Whether you’re rich, you’re famous, you’re poor, you’re a regular 9-5 employee, you are not safe from the demons of your own soul. Should you accidentally crack a part of you, these demons will take the chance to eat through you. It feeds into your soul, filling you up with dark thoughts that haunts you in the night, that niggling voice at the back of your head saying “you aren’t enough” , that whisper in your ear coaxing you to leave this world.
It is truly the happiest of people that hide a façade, a mask to cover the dark shadows that looms around them. That behind that bright light is a shadow, ready to swallow anyone whole.
You have given the world the greatest of music. The words you’ve tangled to form melodies, changed lives. Your music greatly influenced those who are struggling and lived by it, your music became strenght. You’ve made the lives of hundreds and thousands of people. We are very sorry that we couldn’t return the life and happiness you gave all of us. Look after us in Heaven, look at us from There, and see how the world views you as a beautiful and strong human being.
You have fought your war, soldier. Thank you for battling your demons for us. It would’ve been great to fight together, side by side, but we appreciate you being a hero for us. It is now time for you to rest. You deserve a peaceful rest, after years of battle.
