Happy anniversary to the 5 stars that shines the brightest in my life, TVXQ!
I can't really think of anything to say, more than thank you. TVXQ has been a constant inspiration to me for the past 7 years. It hasn't been long for me compared to others, and I feel like I've joined them late. They were in the middle of a lawsuit the time I stanned them despite knowing them a few months prior to it. It's one regret I've always had, not knowing this jewel of a group soon, anyways the happiness brought isn't less by any amount.
How I came to be as a Cassiopeia
Tohoshinki Live Tour 2013 ~TIME~ in Nissan Stadium
I don't really remember the first time I saw them. In a Arashi forum? Through my friend recommending JPop songs? In the news? I don't really remember anymore. But the first time I've really invested my time and attention on them was during Sungkyunwan Scandal. I watched the press conference in KBS World and my eyes immediately brought me to then Micky Yoochun. I was baffled why the fuck would someone name themself "Micky Yoochun", saw he was an idol from this group TVXQ. He was still referred as a TVXQ! member back then so I looked them up, found that all of them had peculiar names and their faces are a huge contrast to their stinky names. From there, I stanned JYJ, (who had content that time since the duo was still on hiatus) followed their shit, even that godforsaken Ayy Girl. I was super amazed that they were one of the few KPop artist who broke through American market, US content from them were everywhere back then so I watched all of their shit. Fell inlove with Kim Jaejoong on the spot yall. Who wouldn't? Anyways, this continued on. Me following JYJ, sorting through their old music videos and getting brokenhearted as the months pass by, the possiblity of them coming back together is next to nada. Came 2011, TVXQ came back stronger than before. I remember my heart hurting seeing TVXQ! back on screen, feeling as if Yunho and Changmin have been the true victim of the huge mess that is the lawsuit. I've always felt for them, because TVXQ! as 5 has a huge potential to make it big. If I know, they could've been bigger than Big Bang. But anyways, I've always admired the duo for holding up, for still having strength to continue on. They have been stronger ever since.
Since then, love for TVXQ and JYJ only grew stronger. Their soulful voices have been a lullaby to me for the past 7 years, and it will be for a very long time. They've been a contant inspiration, from them being hard workers and passionate to what they love, to fighting for what they think is right for them. The boys and the fans have gone through so much for the past few years, and I think the trials we've all faced made up to what we all are now. We all grew up together, we laughed together, cried together, celebrated milestones together, we all matured together. The tears and the pain we had to endure are I think necessary for us to become as strong as we are now.
TVXQ as an artist is incredibly successful. They need to prove nothing anymore, especially to junior groups and new fans. They've engraved their success into stones and their awards throughout the years are an attestment of how successful they are. KPop Newbs should educate themselves. Lol. Not to mention Tohoshinki is very much successful in Japan. (BTS fans can choke. Hahaha! I'm still very mad about that stupid remark that fan made. Pft claiming to be a TVXQ and SNSD fan before. Shut it bitch. Lol) Jaejoong may not be equally huge as his TVXQ brothers anymore, but he can sold out a 16, 000 seater dome easily. He is still a huge name in KPop, and ever since his discharge from the army, projects have been nonstop for him. Junsu on the other hand, is a household name in musicals. Even Korean media agrees so. No one can beat a Kim Junsu in musicals. His songs still top charts. They've been a huge name for so long, so please newbs, do not discredit. Lol.
It's been 14 years since the world gave you to us, it's been 8 years since the world decided perfection cannot last, but thank you for not giving up. For continuing to inspire and give life to others through your music. Thank you TVXQ and JYJ. Thank you.
Here's to more years and for a possible reunion!
