Do people want me to sing? Would people come to see me if i joined a choir or did solo work? Am I good enough to do this professionaly? Blarg the seed of doubt is starting to plague my mind. I don't like it but I guess I will have to get through it. Help me my friends.

do it, babe. you and yer mum talk about 'gifts' and talents from God and if that's what 'tis fine, but not honing that ability is an insult to the world and a degradation of yourself. unfortunately, unlike fields you can't let your voice lie fallow; you have to work to bring it back to par and then work even more to exceed its standards. don't just take the compliments and rest comfortably, you have to use that energy to spur forward and really live your voice. we have total confidence in your potential, but you're the only one who can substantiate it
