I definitely find that question silly, and it doesn't even make sense to me. I think it might have to do with the recent rise in popular of memoirs, which actually kind of grates on me, I really have no interest in them.

I think I would ask the person whether they think Stephen King's work is autobiography or wish fulfillment. Seriously.
