Sherlock, Season 2: Man, am I disappointed.

So...am I the only one who thinks Season 2 has been a pretty big letdown?  I mean, there have been some really great bits, and supremely hilarious parts, but on the whole, this season feels flat to me.  The characters feel stagnant. I'm not a fan of the character interpretations. And - I'm gonna say it - I'm bored with Sherlock's manic,

I wouldn't normally self-promote, but seeing that your post asks the question whether you are alone, perhaps you could have a look at this
attempt to put some thoughts on SCAN together to find the answer. The comments, too!

I am, too, reading canon in order of publication (two-thirds in) and I think for those of us with canon in mind watching the series is starting to get tricky. Enjoyed HOUND much more, though, I have to say.
