I have an interesting post brewing involving revelations as to why I can't seem to just have a decent relationship, EVER. Anyone even interested?

What qualifies as decent?

One that doesn't seem to want to fall apart after things get really serious, although one where someone actually 100% loved me would be nice too.

What does 100% love you mean?

100% love me means they won't say "but nobody else wants me" after 3 years of dating. They don't make me ditch all my friends for theirs and then revel in the fact that theirs don't socialize with me when we break up. They don't prey on my already breaking heart to get at my current boyfriend and sate some egotistical need of theirs.

"Because" or "Because you love me" are in no way reasons to build a life with someone. I'm sick of running into guys that only stay with me because I don't nitpick and nag and try to change them.

I've lost count of the times I've been right about the break up but still been the bad guy because of it. (What your buddy likes to forget about our breakup is that when I tried to break up with him a month before it ended, he settled on an open relationship. Herego, the kissing of previously mentioned egotistical predators did NOT count as cheating) I've also lost count of the times Stuart has been involved, but that's a story of a different color.

define decent relationship. isn't it kinda like defining normal. all relationships involve people and we are such a confusing bunch. you say tomato i say tomahtoe and such always lead to bullshit but still we perservere. it's always decent and never so. all we can do is grab on and hold tight and hope if we get thrown off the ride we can survive the fall. i love you laurie, try not to be so hard on yourself and remember in the end you are awesome either way. hey, i love this song....
